Teagan is in love with The Count from Sesame Street. She gets so excited when he appears and will stop whatever she is doing to stare intently at the T.V. The other morning The Count had a lady friend with him and Teagan was so jealous. She yelled "My Count, she go away!!" It was too cute to see her so mad. She forgave The Count as the next morning when he appeared she stopped eating to run to the T.V. yelling "My Count!!"
Teagan read her first book from cover to cover, Eric Carle's "Have You Seen My Cat". It is a simple book that repeats on every page "Have you see my cat?" and "No, that's not my cat." Teagan read every page. She had only heard the story twice before and the last time was over a week ago. Yes, she is a genius.
With the fall weather comes fall fashion. Teagan loves getting new clothes. She grabbed her new vest and said "New!! Pretty! I try on! Thank-you mommy!" Note she is wearing mommy's shoes. She had her slippers on her feet.
Teagan put on an art show for daddy after a hard 45 minute session of stickering and colouring. She sure loves her crafts. I guess crafting is a nurtured trait!!! As she laid out the pictures she told us who each picture was created for. A few for daddy. A couple for mommy. One for nana. One for grandma. And a big pile for her papas. I guess she thinks her papa and grandpa have a greater need for art work.
This morning Teagan put on an art show for mommy. This time her medium was paint with water.
Teagan has started her own Tupperware collection. She is very particular about which item belongs in which container. She puts the containers on the bottom stair and everyday we maneuver around them. When she is in bed I move them and when she wakes up she puts them right back.
Teagan loves to help. Here she is shaking the chicken wings.
No story just a cute picture.
We went last Sunday to watch the planes at the airport. Teagan had her spotting scope (Diego has one). It is just a empty toilet paper roll. She is still crazy about planes. We spent about half an hour watching them take off and land.
I took this picture through Teagan's spotting scope.
