Happy Canada Day

Teagan and I went to Airdrie for the Canada Day Parade. We had never been before and my friend Becky invited us to go with her and her daughter Bianca. We parked by my friend Kathy's house and she came along with her two boys.


Teagan was thirsty and hungry after the walk to get to the parade so she started in on snacks and beverages before the parade started. She asked if this was it and I had to explain that it had not started yet.


Once it started Teagan was glued. She loved all the horses, especially the miniature ponies.


We looked the part and even had tattoos to wear.


The kids: Adam is hiding under the bike helmet, Bianca is in the stroller and Colin is the only one looking at the camera.

The parade was longer than we thought it was going to be but it kept the kids attention, especially all the candy they threw out for the kids. Teagan was too shy to go get any but Colin shared some with her.
After the parade we went to Becky's for lunch. She decided that we should make this an annual event. Great idea says Teagan!!
