The Enchanted Forest

July 10th to 13th we went to Revelstoke, B.C. for a family vacation. This is only the second vacation we have been on as a family. We stayed at a hotel with a swimming pool which was the highlight for Teagan as we went swimming everyday.
She also enjoyed eating out and staying up until mommy and daddy went to bed. She loved the fresh B.C. cherries and eating ice cream. She had her first Slurpee and made some new friends. This is just the first part of our trip.

July 11th. Half way between Revelstoke and Sicamous we found the Enchanted Forest. We vaguely remember our first trip as youngsters but thoroughly enjoyed seeing it through Teagan's eyes.

"Look there!"
"Look at that!"
"Are you coming in?"
"I'm going in that house."
"Who do you think lives there?"
"Can I go in there again?"

Our first stop was the only place Teagan remembered from the website photos. She wanted to put Daddy in jail. Daddy was eager to oblige.

This smile was just for Nana. Teagan didn't want to stand still for pictures but she stopped when we told her that Nana would love to see Teagan with Little Red Riding Hood.

And this picture is just for Grandpa. Vaun figured my dad would have a ton of fun working in this place and building things.

I remember seeing a picture of my brother and I standing in this exact spot over thirty years ago.

Vaun setting a good example of how to pose for a picture. Teagan didn't catch the hint. Doesn't he look foxy!!!

We went for a short but not easy hike in the Enchanted Forest. The path led to the rowboats. It was hard to get a picture from in the boat. Teagan was quite concerned about the whole thing. It was the first time any of us had ever been in a rowboat.

Teagan went twice into the Three Bears house. The first time to check it out and the second time to see if Goldilocks was still sleeping in little bear's bed.

Teagan and Daddy in the humongous fungus!! Teagan was tired of me snapping pictures.
