My dad did lots of little jobs around the house like painting our front door, vacuuming the carpets, and small repair jobs. He even emptied the junk left from our garage sale into his truck to take home.
My mom did lots of cooking, baking and mending. We got some crafting time in and even spent a day scrapbooking together. We also celebrated her birthday while they were here with a supper out and a day off.
Teagan had a lot of fun with Grandpa and Grandma. They decorated the house and made gingerbread cookies. Teagan even took a day off school to stay home and be with them.
We exchanged presents with mom and dad while they were here. Teagan was happy when Grandma took her shopping at Michael's and she got to put whatever she wanted into the cart. She was very thoughtful of what she wanted and what she really didn't need.
It was a great visit but too short as usual! We look forward to their next visit in February.
