Zoo Day

Teagan and I went to the zoo to see the new penguins exhibit. We got to the zoo a half hour after opening. The line to see the penguins was already well over an hour long. We stood in line for two minutes then decided we wanted to see something other than the people in front of us in line.
We headed out to the dinosaurs, then the gorillas, hippos, zebras, monkey, camels and elephants. We had great timing as they were giving an elephant a bath. People had paid for a behind the scenes experience and were helping wash the elephant.



On our way back out of the zoo the line was over two hours long to see the penguins. Maybe next year we will get to see them!!!
