Sweetheart's Valentine

Thanks to Auntie Rochelle for the matching aprons. They made pancake making a little more special.

Another busy week in the Mehling house. Nana and Grandpa arrived Tuesday evening. We celebrated Nana's birthday with some delicious chocolate cake. Teagan liked it a little too much. Cake is now a word in her vocabulary usually preceded by the word more.
Valentine's Day was full of hugs and kisses. Daddy bought mommy and Teagan each a bouquet of tulips. Nana had fun shopping the sales in Yuma and brought Teagan a pile of new clothes for spring.
It was teacher's convention on Thursday and Friday. It was very frustrating as no one seemed to be able to get into any sessions as they were full. We went a half hour before the session started and it was already full. We heard of people lining up two hours in advance to get into a session.
I got my hair chopped off. I needed an easy hairdo so the morning in not such a rush. Sorry mom!!
The Clark's came over for brunch on Sunday. The girls kind of played together. Teagan was a little possessive of her toys.
Got a call last night that Teagan's day home is closing the end of the month. So we are searching once again for a place for Teagan. This will make her fourth dayhome since I went back to work. It is so frustrating!!!
The doorbell rang this morning and Teagan's new craft table arrived from Airmiles. She was tickled pink and spent a lot of time organizing her crayons and markers.
Nana and Grandpa are off to Yuma again tomorrow. It was sure nice to have a mid-winter visit with them. The Chinook Nana ordered arrived just in time too! They were astonished at how much Teagan has grown and changed since October. Teagan will miss them. Grandpa has been taking her to the park and out for walks almost everyday. Nana has been reading stories and having tea parties. I think life back in Yuma will seem a little dull when they get back.
