Teagan is Two

Time flies when your having fun. Our beautiful little girl is now officially two. The started with Teagan peeking in our bedroom door. When I said "Hi Teagie" she flung open the door, ran in and yelled "I'm awake!". We had decided to spread the presents out over the day. We started with the gift from Auntie Carolyn, Uncle Jeff, Kirby, Blair and Erinn. Teagan was so excited when she saw the fairy costume. She got even more excited when she found out it was for her to wear. She had to put it on right away over her pyjamas. When I changed her later we had to put it back on right away. The presents stretched on through out the day with a new doll from Nana and Grandpa, clothes, doll clothes, books and more toys and clothes.
I made Teagan chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. Teagan tried to just eat the chocolate out of the pancakes. It was a wonderful day even thought the weather was cold and rainy. Teagan still hasn't got her present form us yet, maybe tomorrow if the weather is warm.

Teagan's cake was a bit of a challenge as after this picture was taken the head tipped over and had to be propped up with a toothpick and funtack. When she saw it she grabbed the heap and took a big bite of the icing. Vaun still has those pictures on his camera.

My tulips are gorgeous this year. Teagan was excited to stand in the flowerbed and be allowed to touch the flowers.

She tried to help Nana and daddy plant the flowers in daddy's planters but the dirt was just too tempting to play with. She is a true gardener as she has to taste the dirt in big mouthfuls to make sure the soil is good for planting.

Teagan had to measure Papa to see if he had grown since her last birthday. Nana and Teagan liked doing stickers together. Nana and Papa go home tomorrow and Teagan will miss them so. I'm sure their house will seem extra quiet.
