Animal Kingdom Day Four

On Wednesday the three of us went to Disney's Animal Kingdom. We went around two o'clock. Shortly after we arrived there was a thunderstorm. Everything shut down so we took shelter under a hut. We were all dripping wet. After the rain the park seemed to clear out and the line disappeared.



The Tree of Life was incredible to look at but it is one of those things you have to see to appreciate.


Dancing with Donald Duck. This was the first character Teagan encountered that did not talk. Donald sure had personality though. We did something different with each guest.


We went on the Kilimanjaro Safari twice. The animals were incredible and the terrain was very realistic. Such a wide variety of African animals and some came so close to the vehicles. The storyline of the tour was a little cheesy and I think it could do without a story at all and just be a tour in itself.

This is Miss Bunny, you may remember her as Thumper's girlfriend.













The highlight of the day was the Safari ride for me as well as the corn dog, Disney knows how to fry a wiener on a stick!! Teagan enjoyed the whole day. The animal kingdom is nothing like the Magic Kingdom, there is more reality than fantasy here.
