Weekly Update

Another week down. Teagan had tons of fun with her Nana and Grandpa Grant here. They took her to the park twice a day, fed her well and played lots of games. They also took good care of mommy and daddy.

Teagan was back at the day home Wednesday. Hina had missed her and told us no more days off. Teagan sure enjoys it there. She is such a big girl now waving good-bye to me and giving me a kiss when I leave her in the morning. She has been better about coming home too. It is so sweet when the other children come running so happy to see her and the older kids wanting to take care of her. One little boy Patrick is especially helpful. On Friday he tried to put Teagan's shoes on for her.

Teagan has grown a bit taller. She had been eating so much we decided we should measure her. She is over 32 inches, over a quarter but not quite a half. I meant to weigh her too. The last time Vaun weighed her she was 24 pounds.

Today was Mommy Daughter day. Teagan slept in until 9:15 this morning after waking up at 6am for a diaper change. We ate breakfast and went to the mall to go shopping. We bought new socks, ate lunch and played at the Play Zone. Then we bought a winter coat and snow pants on sale at Zeller. We tried to find winter boots but most stores didn't have them out yet. It is 4 degrees outside today. We had snow last night, enough to stay on the ground in some places. Teagan fell asleep on the way home and is napping right now.

The school week was long!! We had school opening mass and school pictures. The photographer has gone digital and the kids proof and order forms were in my hand less than a minute after their pictures were taken. Freaky fast!! The kids are settling into routine but the rainy days and indoor recess were not helpful. Next week we have Parent Teacher Interviews and my student teacher also arrives on Monday.
