At the Mehling's

We began our Saskatchewan holiday by visiting Vaun's parents on their acreage outside Nipawin.

Nana and Papa were well prepared for the arrival of Princess Teagan. The swing was erected in between two trees in the front yard and a play tent was on the front deck all set for tea time.

Teagan got her first scrape after she wiped out on the sidewalk. She had made several trips previous running up and down and a few with mommy and papa in tow. Her daddy cleaned her up. He told her the peroxide may sting a little. Teagan winced and told him it was "spicy". She left the band aid alone and the next morning she told me that grandma had taken off her "booby" when she gave her her bath.

Teagan enjoyed riding on papa's bike. We couldn't find a helmet to fit her so they couldn't go as fast as Teagan would have liked. Here they were off to find the cows. Teagan was convinced there was a cow in her room. She was constantly taking about cows as Farmer Brown's cows were in the pasture close to the house. She got to go to the farm and see the new baby kittens, touch a horse's nose and see a baby calf.

Teagan got to go to the beach for the first time. We had headed to Tobin Lake to play at the playground not realizing that we may just go down to see the water. Teagan loved it. She had so much fun putting sand into the water and then washing off her hands. She got quite wet and dirty and had to travel back to nana and papa's in just her diaper.

Teagan loved riding on the tractors, even though they didn't move. We made several trips from one tractor to the other.

This is a three generation accordion band. Mind you only one member can actually play.
We took well over 300 pictures on our vacation so I cannot possibly post all the pictures but do note that Teagan was kept very busy and spent most of her time outside.
Thank-you Nana and Papa for a wonderful time. Teagan had so much fun at your house. We look forward to next summer's visit.
