At The Zimmer's

From the Mehling's we moved over to my mom and dad's in Codette.

Teagan learned a lot about gardening while at Grandma and Grandpa's but she retained some of her city girl ways by taking her purse to the garden with her.

I think Teagan's favourite vegetable is cucumbers. Red pepers, mushrooms and carrots are a close second.

Vegetables always taste the best straight from the garden and rinsed under the hose. We often tease my parents about why they have such a big garden but we are openly grateful for all the delicious veggies.

Teagan was lucky to get in a visit with her 92 year old great grandmother. They had a private tea party in which no one else was invited.

Eating raspberries with Grandpa. One at a time to Teagan meant one handful at a time.

Grandpa told Teagan he would take her to the zoo. She asked to see the giraffe and the hippo but we assured her it was not that kind of zoo. Oh she loved those bunnies and grandpa did too!! I won't be surprised if there is a rabbit hutch in the backyard next time we visit.

Teagan would not stand in the corn for a picture so the corn stalked her around the yard. Boy cans he run fast!!

Teagan spent a lot of time with her grandpa. They wrestled, tickled, teeter-tottered. slid, wagoned, explored and learned together. This is one of the reasons I wished we lived closer to our parents. I want to Teagan to know and remember all of the special people in her life who love her so very much.

Teagan had her first fire roasted marshmallow. This picture is of course staged by grandma as Teagan did not roast her own marshmallow.

Teagan wanted to fish. She spent a fair amount of time at it too. the almost lost the rod a few times leaning over to see her float in the water. When she gave up on fishing she of course wanted to drive the boat.

Teagan loves the rain. If you look back in blog history to last summer you will see a story about a walk in the rain. Not much has changed and then again everything has seemed to change.
We had a great holiday!!
