I'm so lucky to have help in the kitchen. Teagan is very eager to help and any little job she loves to do. I was surprised that should could look at the turkey and foresee how delicious it would taste.
Yes, there is a lot of waiting involved in cooking a turkey.
Teagan had her first dolly tea party while we waited for the turkey to cook.
Teagan and her friend Aidan had fun with playdough, playing downstairs and outside. How do you get almost three year olds to smile nice???
Teagan was still half a sleep this morning although her mouth was wide awake. We came down stairs and when she saw the Easter treats she asked "Was the Easter Bunny coming?"
She wasn't too sure about all the things in her basket but she did recognize the bunny as being chocolate.
She has been asking for a skipping rope. Not sure where she saw one but she kind of knew what to do with it.
A new spring hat with a matching backpack.
Some new playdough with a make and display dome.
New crayons and paints.
She played with each of her new toys and coloured in her new colouring books. Her new bunny made lots of hops around the kitchen and all over mommy and daddy too.
It was a gorgeous day and we spent a lot of time outside with a trip to the park and playing in the backyard. Teagan was invited over to the neighbours for an Easter egg hunt with two other little girls.
It was a very nice weekend.
