Cowgirl

Today was visiting day at Fenton Quarter Horses. They are hosting Teagan's summer riding camp for Horse R Cool this summer. We went to check it all out. When we got there Teagan asked if she could ride a horse. When I told her that it was just to come and see where she would be having her camp and that she could only pet the horse she said "What was the point of coming then?" Then you could image that she didn't want to leave. There were two ponies inside to pet and to larger horses. Teagan will learn on the little ponies how to saddle, bridle, etc. We met Diane and Keith who run the camp. Both were seasoned veterans and we knew then that Teagan will be taught how to do it right and there would be no halfway horsemanship. I think Teagan will learn a lot at her two day pony power camp. Next summer when she is eight she can go to the full week camp with the big horses. I think our cowgirl will be signing up before summer is over. Giddy-up!!
