Berry Picking

On July 29th we went out to Rushmer's to pick Saskatoon berries. We went out in the morning to pick just one pail to make a pie for Vaun. After lunch we went back and picked another five pails. The berries were gorgeous and so easy to pick as they hung like grapes from the bushes. It took us less than an hour to pick five pails.

On our way out to the patch. Teagan loved riding in the wagon behind the quad. She was always on the look out for Obi the dog.

Teagan went with Connie to wash some pails while mom and I picked. By time they came back we had four pails full.

Teagan organizing the pails for us. She would eat one berry from each pail then start over again and eat a second berry from each pail. She spent a lot of time counting th pails and eating berries.

On the way back to the house Connie stopped by a bush with huge berries on it and we grabbed a handful. Teagan savoured those extra big berries.
