Mountain Drive

We were very crazy to head out to the mountains on a beautiful sunny Sunday last weekend. It was so busy everywhere we had trouble finding parking. Teagan had never been to the mountains and she kept asking "Are we at the mountains yet?".


We had a picnic lunch at Lake Minnewaka. It was so hot. It was not a good day to be there with all the people and the hot temperature.

The lake is beautiful. We will have to come back in the fall when there are less people around.


We saw lots of mountain goats. Teagan was easily impressed as we pointed out the goat she pointed the other way and exclaimed "and look a big stick!". Oh what a city girl.


We stop in Canmore for some of their famous McKay's ice-cream. Teagan really enjoyed drinking the melted ice-cream from her cone.
