Trolley Tour

We heard that the trolley tour of San Diego was a great tour to go on, thanks Grant and Lil. We got on the trolley at 9 am. The first stop we got off at was Sea Port Village. We wandered the shops, felt a 4.9 earthquake, bought some souvenirs and ate giant cookies.

We got back on the trolley and continued the rest of the tour without getting off. We had arranged to go kayaking at 3 pm in La Jolla. Of course when we got to La Jolla the ocean was too rough and they were not letting kayaks go out. So we had to sit on the beach and relax.

These are pictures from the trolley of Coronado Island. Suzanne was a little freaked out on the ride across the bridge. I was by the window and you looked out and straight down to the water. The trolley seemed to be going at top speed and Suzanne thought we would go over the barrier into the water.

We went through Balboa Park. We wished we could get off and explore but kayaking was on our mind. We did come back here for a better look another day.

We did spend a little time in Old Town before we left for La Jolla. Again this is a place we came back to a few times. We really wanted to eat those fresh, handmade tortillas.

The trolley tour was great. Wish we could of gotten off at every stop. We did make it back to a few favourites but left some to explore another visit. I think you need two days on the trolley tour to be able to stop and see everything.
